What Is LARP
LARP is an abbreviation for (Live Action Role Playing), a form of role-playing game where the participants physically act out their characters’ actions. The players pursue goals within a fictional setting represented by the real world while interacting with each other. The outcome of player actions may be mediated by game rules or by consensus among players.
LARP is collaborative and interactive community art that allows the participants to plunge themselves fully into different worlds or universes. With an array of costumes, props and scenography, this setting becomes the backdrop for a unique and astounding experience.
We use LARP as a participatory tool to tell stories and present different subjects while allowing everyone to be any fictional character. We believe in the possibility of using LARP as an interactive tool to encourage dialogue and learning by providing an appropriate environment that allows all participants to develop their abilities in communication, discussion and decision-making and to address social and political issues.

Although I had participated in various trainings with several organizations before, this experience was unique and not traditional.
